I have it hooked up to a couple of sound-bars and a subwoofer. The sound that emits from the projector itself is not adequate for movie viewing, but it's not supposed to be. Easy to set-up, focus, and use right away. I would honestly pay $500-$600 for this projector, so I am very satisfied as far as 'bang-for-my-buck' goes. I would recommend this product.
